A Day of celebration from ACC (Associate Professional Coach) to PCC (Professional Certified Coach)! When I took my first professional coaching training in 2019, this was a goal I couldn’t even dream of. Last Friday, a congratulation email from ICF Global arrived in my inbox:
Dear Nina,
Congratulations! Your application for the designation of PCC has been approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This career milestone signifies your commitment to high professional and ethical standards in the coaching industry, and to your own continued growth and education clients. By choosing to earn an ICF Credential, you have earned the credibility conferred by the only globally recognized professional coaching credential.
According to ICF Global the PCC distinguishes coaches with the verified skills required for effective coaching practice and substantial experience partnering with clients. The PCC is designed for established coaches who provide coaching services as a primary focus of their professional practice.
If you are interested in knowing more specifically what components are included at the PCC level, here they are:
125+ hours of coaching education
500+ hours of coaching experience
10 hours of Mentor Coaching with an eligible mentor coach
Successful completion (passing score) of a performance evaluation
Successful completion (passing score) of the ICF Credentialing Exam
For me this is also a certification for my passion for the professional coaching field.
A huge thank you to all and everyone who has been a part on this journey! Everything is possible as long as the will is there!
